The last post

This is the last post to this short-sightedly named blog. Finley's brother, Will, was born this week. So we will move things over to http://themarkles.blogspot.com/
The pictures below are from our fun in the snow today... the biggest snowfall in the area in over 5 years.
The video is from Fin having fun with our friends in Mommy's hospital room the day after Will was born.

2 months to go

I'm hoping anyone checking in to the blog is working under the "no news is good news" assumption. Sorry I have been so slack in updating this. We were at the hospital yesterday and all is well. The little guy's heart rate was great and all reports continue to be good.
The doctor asked Robyn if there were any things she was dealing with. She gave him the list... fatigue, nausea, discomfort... and he said "Yep. You sound pregnant" and we all had a good laugh. Oddly, it was nice to have our trials and tribulations dismissed as normal.
Baby's due date is Feb 3, so we are inside two months. He is 32 weeks gestation now. He was measured at 4 pounds last week, which is in the top half of normal.

Baby brother is doing well

We got the news we wanted to hear on Tuesday. The baby's heart rate continues to be normal (123 for those keeping a chart) and he continues to look good despite the reduction in the dose that Robyn is taking. They are going to reduce the monitoring to once a week from here on in. This is the best-case scenario and we are so thankful and happy.
His favourite trick is pulling his feet up by his head. He is a very active (and apparently flexible) baby. We got to see him suck his thumb and have a couple of big yawns in the 3D ultrasound on Tuesday. It is so incredible.

Through the window

These are some adorable pictures that Bamma Markle got one afternoon when she was here.
