Finley continues to do well. He had a good night without us here: he downed two big bottles of Mommy's milk and managed just fine without us. We, on the other hand, were complete basketcases. We had a terrible night. We left here at about 11:30. And, of course, right before we left he was doing some weird things with his face that we thought could be seizure-related. So we worried the entire night that he was having seizures and the nurse was not seeing them and that he was scared and alone. It was awful. But we got in this morning and were told that he had a great night. We are getting a crash course in parenting... all those who have blazed the trail, please try not to smirk... managing our fears and worries is becoming our biggest battle.
His drug level was 33 at this morning's reading. For reasons that continue to baffle me despite several attempts at explaining it to me, it seems that I am the only one that is concerned that that is LOWER than the level at which he seized. But they (including Robyn) are getting tired of the question from me, so I am having to let it go.
They continue to talk about him going home, but are yet to actually utter a day that they have in mind. We are still thinking it will be Thursday, but are trying not to get our hopes up in case they delay it.

Thank you for your continuing love and support and emails and drawings (Kori Swanson made a whole BOOK of drawings for him). They brighten our days greatly.
Love,
Finley and two emotionally unstable and physically exhausted other people
This is Finley's nurse, Debbie. The nurses are allowed to sign up to have a baby be their "primary" (meaning that they care for that baby whenever they are on). Finley is Debbie's primary. She is so good to him.
